Bosses and Elites are separate encounter types, and as such the Sling of Courage has no effect during boss fights. Keep this in mind when considering purchasing it.

This relic references the tale of David and Goliath, in which the gigantic Goliath was slain by David, who was wielding only a stone and slingshot. Since then, the phrase "David and Goliath" has taken on a more popular meaning, usually denoting a situation where a smaller, weaker opponent faces a much bigger, stronger adversary.
