The Shovel allows you to dig for loot at Rest Sites. The "Dig" option is added to each Rest Site, which grants the player a random relic. The Shovel cannot dig up relics exclusive to Bosses or the Shop.
Dig uses up the Rest Site, just like Peace Pipe and Girya.
This relic is a visual reference to the shovel used by Shovel Knight.
This relic does not spawn beyond floor 48, excluding Endless mode.
