Rushdown is a Power card for the Watcher. After it is played, you immediately draw 2 cards when entering the Wrath Stance.
When Upgraded, Rushdown's cost becomes 0.
Mechanics[]
- The Rushdown buff is stackable, so playing multiple copies of Rushdown will draw even more cards upon entering Wrath.
- Rushdown triggers after the card that enters Wrath is put into the discard pile.
Infinite Combos[]
Rushdown is a key component of Stance-based infinite combos. All that is required for an infinite combo, in addition to Rushdown itself, is:
- A deck that is thin enough to hold all cards in hand
- 1 card that enters Wrath and 1 card that enters Calm, with these characteristics:
- They cost at most 2 Energy in total (or at most 3 Energy if you have Violet Lotus)
- They deal any amount of damage, or you have another damage source such as Panache or Letter Opener
Once the whole deck is held in hand, enter Calm, then enter Wrath. You will immediately draw the Calm and Wrath cards again and gain 2 Energy from exiting Calm.
Trivia[]
- During beta testing for the Watcher, Rushdown was called Adaptation and triggered on all Stance changes.
