- Positive
- Ornamental Fan, Kunai and Shuriken all get a free activation from Ninja Scroll.
- After Image+ and any synergistic card put into Bottled Tornado or Bottled Flame will get extra activations.
- Dead Branch turns the 3 Shivs into 3 random cards.
- Negative
- If you draw more than 10 cards in your starting hand due to relics like Ring of the Snake, Ring of the Serpent, Snecko Eye, Enchiridion and Bag of Preparation, you will draw the Shivs instead of cards from your deck.
- Velvet Choker may make the Shivs unplayable.
- Strange Spoon may put the Shivs into the discard pile instead, eventually letting you draw them.

- Effects that spawn cards in your hand at start of turn like Infinite Blades and Ninja Scroll will now trigger before card draw.
