Nilry's Codex is one of the three potential rewards from Cursed Tomeevent.
At the end of your turn (before you discard), three random cards are displayed. You may select one of them to shuffle into your draw pile, or you can skip the selection if none of the choices are desirable.
Nilry's Codex can only generate a card that is available through shop and rewards, with some exceptions. It also cannot generate healing cards.
The cards are considered created during combat rather than added to the deck, so they will not be upgraded by Molten Egg, Frozen Egg, and Toxic Egg, but will be upgraded by Master Reality.
Trivia[]
This relic references Codex, a tabletop game made by David Sirlin. "Nilry's" is almost "Sirlin" spelled backwards.
