Mechanic

The Merchant is a friendly NPC that sells items at the Shop location. He will always sell 3 relics, 7 cards, 3 potions, and a card removal service, which allows the player to remove a card in exchange for gold. Each time the card removal service is used (limit once per shop), the price will increase by 25 unless the player has the Smiling Mask Relic, which makes the price always cost 50 gold. Both the Courier Relic and Membership Card Relic will decrease the cost of all products, and the Courier will have the Merchant restock sold items.

Description

The Merchant appears in the form of a blue skinned man sitting on a blue-green rug next to some cards, a small chest, a bag, and a knife. He is wearing a mask covering his face (which is similar to the Smiling Mask Relic) and a blue cloak. He will be generally friendly towards the player and talk to them while they view and purchase his wares.

Trivia

In the Game's Soundtrack, the music which plays while the player is visiting the Shop is titled "Meet the Merchant"
