There are 7 types of map locations present
Monster - fight a monster
Camp fire - rest HP, smith to upgrade a card. Relics add additional options.
Chest - Gain a relic.
? - Can be many things. Often events, but also shops, monsters, etc.
Shop - buy cards, potions, relics or remove a card from deck
Elite - Fight a tough monster, gaining a relic as a reward on top of normal bonuses
Boss - End of each map leads to a boss. Reward is a choice of 3 rare cards and a choice of 3 rare relics.
