For the Act 1 Elite, see Gremlin Nob.

For gremlin-related relics, see GremlinHorn Gremlin Horn and GremlinMask Gremlin Visage.

Target gains 11 Ascension Icon17+ Icon Block Block.
Shield Bash Attack Intent 2 Deals 6 damage.
Deals 8 Ascension Icon2+ damage.

Pattern[]

If there are other enemies, always uses Defend Protect on one of them and will never target itself. If there are no other enemies to protect, it will always use Attack-common Shield Bash unless it intends to Defend Protect that turn, in which case it will Defend Protect itself.

Sneaky Gremlin[]

Move[]

Name Intent Effect
Puncture Attack Intent 2 Deals 9 damage.
Deals 10 Ascension Icon2+ damage.

Gremlin Wizard[]

Move[]

Name Intent Effect
Charging

-
Ultimate Blast
Intent Attack 6
Deal 25 damage.
Deal 30 Ascension Icon2+ damage.

Pattern[]

Spends 2 turns Intent - Unknown Charging, then uses Attack-common Ultimate Blast on the 3rd. From there onward, will Intent - Unknown Charge for 3 turns and then use Attack-common Ultimate Blast.

On Ascension Icon Ascension 17+, the Gremlin Wizard will continue to use Attack-common Ultimate Blast after the 3rd turn without Intent - Unknown Charging.

Tips[]

  • In general, it is best to focus on killing any Sneaky Gremlins first, followed by Fat Gremlins, then Shield Gremlins, and finally Mad Gremlins. If a Gremlin Wizard is present, start focusing on him as soon as is necessary to kill him before he uses Ultimate Blast.
    • Sneaky Gremlins deal the most direct damage, and should be dealt with on the first turn if possible, before they can be protected by a Shield Gremlin and before a Fat Gremlin can weaken you.
    • Fat Gremlins apply Icon Weak Weak, which can make killing the other gremlins more difficult, so they should often be dealt with next.
    • Shield Gremlins will only deal damage to you if they have no allies left to protect. Thus, it is good to kill them after the high priority targets have been dealt with, but before every other gremlin has been killed. You may need to adjust your priorities based on which gremlins the Shield Gremlin chooses to protect. It may be good to attack the Shield Gremlin first if a Gremlin Wizard is present, as the Shield Gremlin may interfere with killing the Gremlin Wizard quickly.
    • Angry Gremlins do the least damage initially, but their damage will increase as you attack them. Thus, it is best to Icon Block Block their attacks for the first few rounds until you can afford to focus on them and kill them quickly.
    • Gremlin Wizards are a bit trickier to deal with. While they only attack once every three turns, their damage can be difficult to Icon Block Block in Act 1. Ideally, you should kill them before they get a chance to use Ultimate Blast, which may require focusing on them before other lower priority gremlins.

Trivia[]

  • A GremlinMask Gremlin Visage can be acquired in the Face Trader event. It however does not look like any existing Gremlin in the game.
  • They are summoned as minions by the Gremlin Leader.
  • The Shield Gremlin is named "GremlinTsundere" in the source code.
