Dark Embrace is an Uncommon Power card for the Ironclad.

In-Game

For every turn after it is played, a card will be drawn for every other card Exhausted.

Ethereal cards are Exhausted at the end of your turn, and effectively causes you to draw cards in advance of your next turn.

Upon upgrade, it will cost 1 Energy instead of 2.

Interactions

  • Dark Embrace is extremely powerful in concert with Corruption, which both allows you to play any skills you draw from it immediately, and draws you an additional card, potentially leading to extremely explosive turns.
  • Dark Embrace enables you to duplicate Fiend Fire with Double Tap or Necronomicon Necronomicon. Normally the second Fiend Fire does nothing because there are no more remaining cards to Exhaust after the first one, but having Dark Embrace active repopulates the hand with cards for Fiend Fire to burn.
