Combust is a Power card for the Ironclad. It deals 5 damage to all enemies at the end of every of the user's turns after it's played, but costs 1 HP every time. This damage cannot be blocked.
Upon upgrade, it deals 2 more damage per turn.
As an Uncommon card, it appears as a reward for combat, although less often than Commons.
Interactions[]
- HP loss reduction relics like Tungsten Rod can reduce or eliminate the HP loss from this card.
- Synergizes well with Rupture, granting 1 Strength per turn.
- Self-Forming Clay will grant 3 block each turn from Combust's 1 HP damage.
- The damage from Combust will not reduce Plated Armor.
- Damage from multiple Combust cards stacks into one hit - this means one Rupture will only grant 1 Strength even with 2 or more Combust powers active.
- The damage from Combust is not affected by additional Strength.
- Synergizes negatively with draw on HP loss, such as with Runic Cube and Centennial Puzzle. The cards drawn from Combust's HP loss are immediately discarded. This also impedes setups that put cards on top of the draw pile, such as Warcry and Headbutt.
