Gives you an Artifact at the start of each combat.

Synergy

Can be used with cards like Biased Cognition, or relics like Mutagenic Strength, to negate the debuffs that those inflict onto you, effectively giving you free, strong buffs.

It does not prevent the confusion from Snecko Eye, regardless of the order in which the relics were obtained.

It always prevents the weakness from Gremlin Visage, and the Strength loss from Mutagenic Strength, regardless of the order in which the relics were obtained.

Trivia

• Interestingly, most mechanical enemies such as Sentry, Spheric Guardian, and Bronze Automaton have innate Artifact, while this relic, with mechanical theme, also grants Artifact.
  • The Defect, a robotic character, also has a card that grants Artifact, and currently is the only one that has access to Artifact via its own card pool.
