The card is added to your normal starting hand. It takes the place of a normal draw (effectively replacing a card in your starting hand.)
Bottled Lightning is the same as the selected card gaining Innate. Duplicating a Bottled Lightning card will NOT draw the copy at the start of your hand (whereas it would if the card had Innate).
