Blood for Blood is an Attack card for the Ironclad. It deals 18 damage, costs 1 less Energy for each bit of HP lost during the current combat. As an Uncommon card, it appears as a reward for combat, although less often than Commons.
Upon upgrade, it gains 4 damage and costs 3 energy.
Mechanics[]
- Because its cost lowers from lost HP, rather than damage, it is affected by effects like Offering and Combust.
- The cost decreases by the number of times you lose HP, not the amount of HP lost.
- If this card is created during combat (such as through
Dead Branch,
Attack Potion, or Foreign Influence), it will account for HP lost before it existed, unlike Masterful Stab.
- HP loss that is reduced to 0 by an effect such as
Tungsten Rod does not lower the card's cost.
