The Bag of Marbles is a common relic that applies 1 Vulnerable to all enemies at the start of each combat.
Strategy[]
The Bag of Marbles naturally benefits decks with a turn 1 that involves dealing damage, by allowing the player to deal even more damage. Even if your turn 1 does not focus on dealing damage, the Vulnerable will help negate some Artifact charges on certain enemies, allowing your subsequent turns to be more powerful.
Synergy[]
- Bottled Flame: If a powerful attack is bottled, the Vulnerable will allow that attack to become even more powerful.
- Innate attacks, such as Backstab, Dramatic Entrance and Mind Blast: Innate attacks are able to benefit from Vulnerable and deal more damage.
- Champion Belt: Applies Weak in addition to the Vulnerable. This makes turn 1 a lot safer, as well as speeding up Artifact negation by a large margin.
- Turn 1 Energy relics, such as Lantern and Ancient Tea Set: More Energy allows you to play more attack cards that benefit from Vulnerable.
- Anchor: Protects you for your first turn, allowing you to take advantage of Vulnerable.
- Bag of Preparation, Ring of the Snake and Ring of the Serpent: More card draw allows you to play more attacks.
- Ninja Scroll: Adds free attacks to your hand that benefit from Vulnerable.
- Mutagenic Strength: Makes all of your attacks played on turn 1 stronger.
- Akabeko: increases damage of your first attack, which is also amplified by Vulnerable.
- Bottled Lightning, Bottled Tornado and any Innate powers or skills, such as Infinite Blades+ and Boot Sequence: Innate cards take up some of your draw, therefore you are much less likely to draw attacks that benefit from Vulnerable.
- Gremlin Visage: Greatly lowers the amount of damage you can do on turn 1, thus making the Vulnerable a lot less useful.
